Application Information

Unfortunately, the College has cancelled all residential summer programs for non-TCNJ students.

Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the summer 2021 camp.

The camp application process is closed.

Please use our waitlist form, below, to contact us and we will notify you when the Summer 2022 application portal is open.

Who should apply?

High school students that rank in the top 30% of their class and have an interest in engineering or medicine.  Applicants must have successfully completed one year of high school math and science.

Camp Costs

The full week of residence camp costs $1,850 (plus a non-refundable $39 application fee).  This fee covers tuition, educational materials, room & board, and entertainment expenses. Currently, financial aid and scholarships are not available through the College and students must reside on campus for the camp duration.  Camp participants must provide their own transportation to and from campus in Ewing, New Jersey.

Important Dates

Program Dates: Tentatively July 24-29, 2022 

Seats are limited. Priority application deadline is April 1, 2022.  Rolling admission thereafter will be based on available space.

All applicants will be notified of acceptance decisions by May 1, 2022.

Full payment will be due June 1, 2022.

Application Requirements

In addition to general parent and student information, the application form will request:

  1. A 250-word student statement about their interest in Biomedical Engineering and what they would like to learn by participating
  2. Name and email contact information for a teacher recommendation.  This teacher should be in the student’s high school and have taught the student in a STEM subject (science, technology, math, or pre-engineering subjects).  Please have the student ask the teacher to be a recommender prior to submitting the application.
